Bosses Day
This is a great Holiday to capitalize on professional gifting for your Olive Oil Store. Olive Oil and Vinegars are the perfect informal gift that anyone can be proud giving on a day like Bosses day. Customized messages make an even bigger impression, as well as customized options. Depending on how well your customers know their bosses, they could get quite personalized with their selections and messages.
Offering pre-made messages is a great idea, and can make it easy for one to pick out a nice gift on a Holiday that they would have otherwise forgotten. Pre-made messages such as "Thank you for being a great boss", or "Thank you for your leadership" are a great and informal way to show appreciate to bosses on Bosses Day.
The origin of this day can be traced back to 1958 when "National Boss Day" was registered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce by Patricia Bays Haroski. At that time, she held the position of a secretary at the State Farm Insurance Company in Deerfield of Illinois. She chose October 16 as that was the day of her boss’s birthday that she had forgotten to celebrate. Incidentally, her father was her boss. In 1962, Otto Kerner – the Governor of Illinois, backed Haroski's registration and officially announced the day as Boss's Day.
Bosses Day is the ideal occasion to shower a boss with tokens of your affection and respect to show how much you appreciate him or her. Your customers ideally know that gifts must be appropriate, and informal, but something that generally everyone can appreciate.
Olive Oils and Vinegars are the perfect fit for this little-remembered Holiday.
